All About Me

Hi! I'm Rhona, a visual artist and an aspiring film director originally from Edinburgh now based in Margate. I studied BA Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art from 2013-2017 and before that HND Contemporary Art Practice at Edinburgh College. Since graduating I've been making short films with support from organisations including BFI NETWORK, BBC Scotland, LUX and Bloomberg New Contemporaries.

Thematically, my work explores social issues of class, gender and identity. My films are characterised by absurdity, dry humour and playful design elements.

I currently work as Art Department Assistant on Film and TV productions. I love being part of the Art Department team on large projects.

I live for creative collaboration. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me about potential collaborations or simply to say hello :)
